Panama City Beach Fla--Campers Inn RV Park

Arrived Wed afternoon lots of traffic, but hey it's a beautiful sunny day on the Gulf of Mexico. Then 24 hours later all hell broke loose,we didn't know this was Spring break at the hottest spot in the country! Morning beach walks were quite, peaceful, with a steady pounding surf of Emeral blue water. One red flag was posted the 3 days we were here(under tow watch). The afternoon walks are impossible - the beach being invisable with the crowds of young persons in very possible position and state of dress or undress !!!!! Every person also has one or two alcohol beverages in their hands . The most upsetting was to see how much trash got pulled into the surf(beer cans-plastic bottles of every size-hugh beer cups just to mention a few)no one stops to pick up, they just keep walking around them!!! Yes,the beach does get raked in the morning by mechanical equipment & tractors ( after all it's 27 miles long ),but so much still doesn't get picked up. Made me upset. Across the street from us is a "club" that has a capacity of 6000! that's inside and not only on the beach with all kinds of stages for different kinds of foolishness ! Drinking during the day is the "get go" for the evening hours - this place offering "free beers" from 5 to 7 and on "ladies night " 7 to 10 what a start ! Police are parked 4 to 6 units in front of our campground and we have "security " persons at the entrance way and around the facilities - no problems in here , but there are sirens going all the time in the street - last night a sheriff dept. helicoper was flying cicles around with spot lights to light up the beach across the street .
Last night we dined out at Capt.Anderson's which is voted #1 Seafood Restaurant, and we were not disappointed. Today we did our morning walk,in the afternoon it rained ,we went to movies and saw Act of Valor,(good show)which was shown at the Grand at the section of town called The Pier
